At Duchesne - Canadian Bilingual School, we understand busy parents' long days. Our after-school care provides seamless, enriching continuity after regular classes.
During the School Year
A secure, warm, structured space where students can:
- Rest and unwind after learning
- Do homework with gentle support
- Review lessons in a calm environment
- Enjoy fun, varied activities (cooperative games, creative arts, free reading, board games, outdoor play when possible)
Healthy afternoon snacks keep energy and focus high until pick-up.
During Summer Break
A full-day, rich, balanced program:
- Varied daily activities (creative games, sports, nature exploration, art workshops, music, bilingual introductions)
- Occasional safe educational outings (per schedule)
- Constant focus on core values: personal responsibility, character development, respect, collaboration, and academic excellence in our English-French bilingual framework
Balanced, Personalized Schedule
Days harmoniously alternate:
- Free play for creativity and independence
- Structured activities (gym, outdoor adventures, music workshops, themed events)
Extra Snack Option
For a modest fee, nutritious afternoon snacks tailored to post-activity energy needs.

Our programs foundation is play-based learning with a focus on real experiences so that students can physically touch and explore what they are learning about.
